Job Summary
Vascular Access Nurse (IV Vascular Access) Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized IV therapy, including PICC line management, within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires flexible coverage between units, adherence to clinical protocols, and a focus on patient safety and comfort.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS; valid state license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in IV Vascular Access. Compact license accepted if applicable.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/14/2026 and ending 12/14/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 2 years of experience in IV Vascular Access, BLS certification, proficiency in adult inpatient care, and experience with arterial catheters, PICC lines, and vascular access procedures.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be experienced with Epic charting system, patient ratios are 1:1 for days and nights, with weekend coverage required.Clinical responsibilities include managing PICC lines, central venous access devices, and related procedures, while ensuring infection control and patient safety protocols are followed. Flexibility to float between units may be required. Candidates must include responses regarding prior work at Providence facilities, references, and geographic eligibility (within 50 miles).
