Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, and providing direct patient care in the emergency setting, utilizing specialized nursing skills and knowledge to address a wide range of acute medical conditions. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver timely, efficient, and safe care to patients across various acuity levels.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shift hours; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or an approved compact RN licensure. BLS certification is required. Experience in an emergency room or acute care setting for at least 1 year within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher. Professional certification in emergency nursing or similar specialty preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, and documenting all aspects of patient care accurately and timely. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes. No supervisory responsibilities are required for this position.
