Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse in an outpatient or inpatient setting. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer and related conditions. The nurse will perform assessments, administer treatments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care within the scope of practice and regulatory standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: CA-Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, no minimum experience required, location requirements are not specified, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical surgical oncology nursing is advantageous
- Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing and evaluating care plans, educating patients and their families about treatment and side effects, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The position involves teamwork, communication of clinical information, and participation in ongoing professional development. The assignment duration is from 08/31/2026 to 11/30/2026.
