Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) registered nurse position situated in a facility setting. This role involves providing patient care within a fast-paced environment, managing a variety of diagnoses, and ensuring patient safety and comfort within scope. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with flexibility to float within the scope of practice as required.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts (19:30-08:00), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active MD state license or Compact license, BLS, ACLS, CPI certifications, no minimum experience required (0 years minimum)
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or II experience, charting system experience, community hospital experience, LTAC experience, prior travel experience, at least 2 years of experience, 6 months of patient ratio experience, preferred charting system experience (Epic), previous charge nurse experience
• Additional Information:
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within electronic medical record (EMR) border units, including Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care units within scope.
  • Patient Diagnosis: Wide variety, including complex emergency department admission diagnoses, with a fast-paced, high volume setting.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6 during night shifts with a minimum of 10 borders up to 40 borders daily.
  • Clinical Skills: Managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, arterial line management, ventilated patient care, chest tubes, CVA, intracranial bleeds, wound care, vascular access, and other advanced procedures.
  • On-Call: Pre-scheduled call shifts are not required.
  • Orientation: 12 hours of orientation provided.
