Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse position in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized care in a 60-bed neonatal intensive care unit, requiring prior NICU experience. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality care to neonatal patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE certification; no minimum experience required but prior NICU experience is preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous NICU experience required
- Float: Float to comparable areas of high need may be required
- Additional Information:
- Start date: 09/21/2026
- End date: 11/02/2026
- Unit specifics include staffing ratios of 2-3:1, utilization of Philips monitors, and documentation via Meditech and Centricity Perinatal systems.
- Scheduling requires three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holiday requirements.
