Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Location unspecified. This position involves circulating in an operating room environment with an emphasis on orthopedic procedures such as total joints, arthroscopy, spine, foot and ankle, hand, ORIF, as well as some general, ENT, GYN, and plastics. The role requires adherence to specific equipment and certification standards within an acute care setting, with scheduled shifts of ten hours per day.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour days with no call and no weekends, with shift hours to be confirmed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid SD or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license; ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA); 3-4 years recent circulating experience in a surgical setting, specifically in orthopedics; experience with total joint and arthroscopy procedures; robotics experience with MAKO preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience utilizing MAKO robotic surgical equipment.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility; scrubs are provided; local travelers living within 80 miles of the facility will have their hourly rate reduced by a specified amount. The unit comprises 11 operating room suites and 1 gastrointestinal suite, with approximately 30-50 cases per day. The clinical duties focus primarily on orthopedic surgeries with some general and specialized procedures.
