Description

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor nurse in a busy acute care setting. This position involves providing direct patient care to a diverse adult patient population, including post-surgical and medical overflow cases. The role requires flexibility for night shifts and accommodate a robust, team-oriented environment focused on quality care.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting; active nursing license; location requirements; no experience specified otherwise
Preferred Qualifications: Surgical experience, post-operative care, early ambulation experience; comfortable with first-time travel assignments
Float: Float to medical and telemetry units; assist with strips reading in medical areas as needed
Additional Information: Bedside shift report is expected; team-oriented and close-knit culture; scrub color is not specifiedscrubs provided in any color; bedside report is a standard practice
