Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery department at a high-volume facility with extensive resources. The nurse will support high-risk pregnancies, perform common procedures, and work within a team dedicated to maternal and neonatal safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including high-risk care; immediate newborn care experience; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; current neonatal certifications preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Circulating experience within Labor and Delivery.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The nurse will be working in a busy Labor and Delivery unit with 16 beds, a team of 120 staff members, and advanced electronic fetal monitoring systems. The unit handles vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk obstetric procedures. Crafting a professional, adaptable, and friendly approach will be essential for success.
