Job Summary:
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician (ORT) in a healthcare facility. This position involves assisting in surgical procedures, preparing operating rooms, and ensuring sterile techniques are maintained. The role requires a certified surgical technologist or a tech in surgery-certified, with an emphasis on supporting surgical teams during various procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule includes Monday through Thursday, with additional call responsibilities one night a week and every third to fourth weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT; BLS certification; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role entails supporting surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and adhering to hospital policies and SOPs.
