Description

Job Summary:

Medical Surgical Oncology Floor nurse position in the Night shift setting. This role involves providing care to a 30-bed unit primarily managing MedSurg patients with a focus on surgical oncology. The position requires a commitment to teamwork and compassionate patient care, with responsibilities including medication administration, chest tube management, Foley management, NGT management, and utilizing EMR systems.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in medical-surgical or oncology settings; must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate compassion and empathy
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV insertion and chemotherapy administration
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Information: Candidates must be able to adhere to unit policies and attend every other weekend or four weekend shifts per month
