Description

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position available in the area. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for critically ill patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The position emphasizes delivering high-quality, evidence-based care within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or a valid temporary/interim RN license, or a compact RN license for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in an ICU or acute care setting for at least one year within the past 12 months.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Professional certification in critical care, such as CCRN, is highly desirable.
  • Additional Information: This role requires the ability to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs, with physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds, standing, walking, and using proper body mechanics. Occasional use of a personal computer may be necessary.
