Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse specializing in adult emergency care is needed in a fast-paced facility. This position involves supporting a high admissions department with a patient census of approximately 25,000 annually, requiring strong emergency skills, excellent customer service, and team support. The role is ideal for professionals with a minimum of five years of experience in emergency nursing.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, emergency nursing certification if applicable, 5 years of experience in emergency room settings, current CPR certification, and experience in adult emergency care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chemical dependency cases, ability to perform IV insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, obtain 12-lead EKGs, interpret telemonitoring, perform cardioversion and defibrillation, procedural sedation, use of CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and trach care.
• Additional Information: The organization can cancel scheduled shifts with 36 to 48 hours' notice during a 13-week contract, based on weekly schedule needs.
