Description

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) registered nurse position in a short-term acute care setting. The role involves floating between units within a 379-bed Level II trauma hospital, providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. The position requires seasoned travelers with at least one prior contract experience in MS/Tele, working scheduled shifts of 12 hours, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026 and ending on 12/08/2026.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026 and ending on 12/08/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license in the state or a compact license, at least 1 year of experience in MS/Tele or related units, certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, and demonstrated experience with blood product administration, central line care, feeding tube management, Heparin protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula, interpretation of dysrhythmias, PPE precautions, IV insulin protocols, dysrhythmia management, nasal cannula usage, oxygen therapy, PCA, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, PICC line management, IV start and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, rapid response and code teams, and wound care.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Strong clinical background in MS/Tele with floating experience across multiple acute care units.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required to other acute care departments within the hospital.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have at least one year of travel or clinical experience in similar units, be flexible to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled, and comply with facility policies including required certifications and references.
