Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in the healthcare organization serving the South County area. This role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment, utilizing the nursing process to ensure patient safety and quality care. The position is suitable for a qualified RN with at least one year of inpatient medical surgical experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 0700-1930, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license meeting Missouri licensure criteria or currently licensed in Missouri; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; 1 year of medical surgical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to a similar or lower acuity unit.
• Additional Information: Utilizes nursing processes for patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates patient care with ancillary departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and functions in compliance with professional and organizational standards. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in a high-risk exposure environment.
