Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility located in a healthcare setting. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for critically ill patients according to professional standards and organizational policies. The RN is accountable for providing high-quality, evidence-based care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patient and family needs throughout the care continuum.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which the nurse is applying is desired. The candidate should have a minimum of 0 years of experience, with clinical performance competencies maintained through annual validations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing preferred. Professional certification related to ICU nursing is also preferred.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care in a critical care environment. Engages in assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient needs, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to develop and revise care plans. Documentation must be timely, accurate, and reflective of patient status. The role includes participating in quality improvement activities and promoting optimal patient outcomes.
