Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position available in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing individualized, patient-centered nursing care to support patients holistic and self-identified goals. The RN will utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic, and efficient care for a diverse patient population, with a focus on high-quality outcomes and collaborative management of complex clinical situations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in California; certifications in CPR and NIH Stroke Scale; ventilator experience (required); ICU step-down experience (required); ICU skill set (required); transplant experience (preferred); at least three years recent RN experience working in RN role; at least two years recent RN experience in a specialty area; BSN or ADN degree required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Transplant experience.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing age-specific care through the nursing process, supporting patient and family advocacy, and collaborating with healthcare team members to manage complex and high-risk clinical scenarios. Candidates must be capable of working night shifts and possess the necessary certifications and experience outlined above.
