Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in a hospital setting. The role involves providing top-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, including geriatric, pediatric, and adult patients, with a focus on trauma, stroke, respiratory, and psych conditions. The position requires a minimum of two years of ER experience and offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 01/02/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure/certification in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or MOAB, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale). A minimum of two years of emergency department experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with conscious sedation, chest tubes, central lines, and the use of EMR system EPIC.
• Support on the Unit: ER techs with phlebotomy certification available 24/7, departmental and critical care float staff, and a resource nurse on duty.
• Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC, IV pumps: Alaris, medication dispensing via Pyxis, bedside and station telemetry monitoring.
• Orientation: One-week comprehensive training including EPIC, skills check-offs, and precepted shifts.
• Additional Information: The facility employs a team-oriented approach to patient care, offering a supportive environment for new and experienced ER nurses alike.
