Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse, Rural Area This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative care in a rural healthcare facility. The OR Nurse will assist with various surgical procedures, including endoscopy, appendectomy, colon resection, and total joint replacement, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS; Education: Valid State License (must be in hand at submission); Experience: At least 1 year of OR experience required.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include circulating and recovering patients, assisting with surgeries such as appendectomy, gallbladder removal, hernia repair, and VATS, and supporting interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.
• Additional Information: This position requires experience in specialized procedures such as endoscopy, along with flexibility to work on-call shifts, including holidays. Candidates should be prepared to float between nearby facilities as needed.
