Description

Job Summary:
The Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician, specializing in operating room procedures, is based in an orthopedic, neuro, and spine-focused healthcare environment. The position involves assisting during surgical procedures by preparing instruments and supplies, and supporting surgical teams to ensure quality patient care. This role requires strong technical skills and experience with neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries.

Job Details:

Position: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician
Shift: 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Schedule: Day shifts, with variable start times from 6:45 AM to 5:30 PM, including weekends in rotation, on-call required
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) licensure (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting NBSTSA)
- Basic Life Support (AHA) certification
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience, with strong neuro, spine, and total joint experience required
- Experience with neuro, spine, orthopedic procedures, and Da Vinci robotic systems required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with trauma Level II and community hospital settings
- Familiarity with Epic charting system and neuro/spine surgery procedures
Additional Information:
- This role involves supporting orthopedic, total joint, podiatry, ORIF, arthroscopy, neurosurgical, and robotic procedures.
- Occasional float to other campuses may be required.
- The assignment begins on 09/21/2026 and ends on 12/21/2026.
