Description

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Neuro (ICU Neuro) Nurse position in a healthcare facility located in the specified area. This role involves providing specialized neurological intensive care to adult and geriatric patients, including neuro-stroke management, post-surgical neuro assessments, and detailed neuro checks. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse license, current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications. CA RN licensure must be uploaded via Nursys within the last two weeks. At least 2 years of relevant ICU neuro experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Neuro ICU experience, NIHSS certification, trauma level II experience.
  • Float: May float to Emergency Department, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department.
  • Additional Information:
    • Locals accepted at local rate; 50-mile radius rule.
    • Must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing.
    • 7-year work history verification required.
    • All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date.
    • Modules are non-billable, with an average of 1-5 hours on e-learning modules during orientation.
