Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Fort Bragg, California located where miles of breathtaking ocean views meet dense coastal forests. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in a critical access hospital setting, according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The position requires supervising and directing nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Provides nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients, supervises nursing staff, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor; certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); certification in S.T.A.B.L.E. (STABLE); minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The role requires the collection and analysis of patient health data, developing and implementing care plans, and participating in discharge planning to provide continuity of care. The incumbent will delegate duties appropriately, promote a safe environment, and support team education.
