Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care located in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care for neonates, including those with high-risk conditions, within a Level II NICU setting. The assignment is structured as a night shift with a focus on managing critically ill infants, including ventilator management and other advanced neonatal procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), at least 1 year of experience in NICU, Neonates greater than 34 weeks, Neonates 29-34 weeks, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), BLS, NRP, STABLE.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, prior community hospital, and Level II NICU experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work three of the five holidays and request all specific scheduling or RTO at the time of submittal. May be required to float between nearby facilities. Candidates must have a valid state license, and references for at least 1 year are required.
