Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves providing critical care to adult and geriatric patients in an intensive care unit setting. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, following established protocols and utilizing specialized equipment to support patient stabilization and recovery.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active MD or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ICU patients diagnosed with stroke, renal failure requiring continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), myocardial infarction with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), respiratory failure, pneumonia, post-cardiac arrest, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), surgical ICU care, and utilization of advanced equipment such as ceiling lifts and emergency carts
• Additional Information: Floating within the specialty and acuity is required. The assignment involves working with adult and geriatric populations, managing complex patient diagnoses, and performing advanced procedures related to critical care. Candidates must be comfortable with equipment such as central lines, chest tubes, pacers, bronchoscopes, chemotherapy carts, and CRRT machines.
