Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in spine and joint procedures in a healthcare facility located in the Denver metropolitan area. Job Details
- Position: Operating Room (OR) Nurse
- Location: Denver, CO (geographic details omitted as per guidelines)
- Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- End Date: 12/21/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid surgical nursing license, current hospital Operating Room (OR) experience of at least 1 year, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Spine and joint surgical experience, prior Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) experience, and joint scrub experience.
- Typical Procedures: Spine fusions, Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ALIF), total joint replacements, and other spine and joint cases.
- Unit Information:
- Number of beds: 3 ORs for Spine and Total Joint, plus 4 for the International Hip Preservation Center
- Staff: Approximately 60 staff members, including charge RN and unit secretary during day shift
- Patient Ratios: No specific data available
- Equipment: Spinal and joint surgical equipment, Meditech EMR system
- On-call: 30-minute response time for on-call shifts, with no overnight shifts required for night call Monday through Friday
