Description
Job Summary:
Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) position in an outpatient surgical setting. The role involves providing preoperative assessments, patient education, and preparation for various surgical procedures. The position supports a team-oriented environment, emphasizing patient safety and high-quality care, with scheduled shifts primarily at 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for earlier starts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 09/21/2026 through 12/21/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license in the state (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of experience as a Preoperative Registered Nurse, and certifications in ACLS and BLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient surgery, familiarity with Epic charting system, and previous outpatient or ambulatory care experience.
- Float: Float rotation to main Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) may be required if needed.
- Additional Information: The role involves assisting with outpatient surgeries, including general, orthopedic, urology, and other procedures. No weekends, holidays, or on-call commitments are required. Candidates must be flexible with schedule variations and adhere to the facility's operational protocols.
