Description

Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available for a healthcare provider located in the central United States. This assignment involves working day shifts, with a focus on preoperative and postoperative patient care. The role entails providing critical recovery services in a fast-paced environment, requiring adherence to established clinical protocols and safety procedures.

Job Details:

Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment runs from 09/14/2026 to 12/13/2026.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; ability to work daytime hours; 0 years of experience required; located within the central US.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit or similar fast-paced recovery environment.
Additional Information: On-call duties approximately 3-4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call every eight weeks. Weeknight call hours are 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.; weekend call hours are 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. The shifts available range from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. depending on staffing needs.
Submission Requirements: Professional licensure documentation, current certifications, and completion of the Epic Questionnaire.
