Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse in a healthcare organization. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient cancer center setting. The role requires adherence to chemotherapy and immunotherapy protocols, along with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). The assignment duration is approximately eight weeks, with responsibilities including patient assessments, treatment administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license with Nursys License and license/certification verification; current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); previous experience working in outpatient cancer centers and with Epic (Beacon) electronic medical records system; travel experience; must be able to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed; 2 years of nursing experience; high school diploma or equivalent; valid drivers license or state ID; professional profile and two professional references required; completed resume required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient oncology experience, chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification, experience with oncology-specific protocols.
