Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position located in the area. This role involves providing patient care on a step-down unit with a focus on conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, diabetes management, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. The position requires clinical expertise in managing acute and chronic medical conditions, adherence to hospital standards, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, 2 years of relevant clinical experience, prior experience in a progressive care or step-down unit, and location flexibility to work at the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with sepsis management, respiratory care, and chronic disease protocols, certification in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), and familiarity with hospital policies and SOPs
• Additional Information: The role involves managing a patient ratio of approximately 1 to 4, handling complex medical cases requiring critical thinking and quick decision-making, and following facility protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care. Shift start date is 09/08/2026 and the assignment ends on 12/05/2026.
