Description

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) in the northeastern region of Nevada. This position involves providing patient care across adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations within an acute care setting. The role supports a team-oriented environment requiring adaptability and clinical proficiency in medical-surgical nursing.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week scheduled
Required Qualifications: No minimum years of experience required; current nursing license; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification; associates or bachelor's degree in nursing; must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered a travel candidate
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or related acute care areas; knowledge of common diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, post-cardiac catheterization care, orthopedic surgery, acute respiratory failure in adults and pediatrics
Additional Information: ACLS must be completed within 60 days of start date. PALS must be completed within 90 days. Fit testing is available on-site. Unit supports adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients, utilizing equipment such as Omnicell medication dispensers, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and GE telemetry systems.
