Pre-Operative Registered Nurse, working in an ambulatory surgery setting located in the area. The role involves providing high-quality perioperative care to patients before surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position requires collaboration with surgical teams to prepare patients for surgery and to facilitate smooth operating room processes.
Job Details
- Shift Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts
- Start Date: 10/05/2026
- End Date: 01/04/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification, 0-5 years of nursing experience, must be willing to work in an ambulatory surgery unit during daytime hours, and eligible to work in the specified location.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pre and post-operative care, ability to manage diverse surgical patient populations, effective team collaboration skills.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours guaranteed per week.
- Additional Information: The role may require the candidate to complete certain education modules prior to the first day, with instructions provided after an offer is made. The unit has 20 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1 pre-op and 3:1 post-op. Scrubs will be provided; outside jackets are not permitted within procedural areas. The position is a staff replacement for a vacant role.
