Description

Job Summary:
L&D (Labor and Delivery) Nurse Location unspecified. This role involves providing specialized care to patients in a maternity setting, focusing on labor, delivery, and postpartum care. The position requires experience in a specialized nursery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and involves implementing protocols, educating patients, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing school; current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming in good standing with the Board of Nursing; current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current and valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if performing circulating or recovery room duties for C-section; current and valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; current and valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly in labor and delivery or NICU.
  • Additional Information: The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the scope of practice. Candidates should demonstrate excellent customer service, communication skills, organization, and the ability to work independently. Electronic Fetal Monitoring training must be completed within specified timeframes for nurses working in Labor and Delivery. The position runs from 09/21/2026 to 11/16/2026.
