Job Summary

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the area. This role involves providing advanced patient care in the post-anesthesia setting, including assessment, monitoring, and management of patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. The RN will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective recovery processes and maintain optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current Washington State RN Licensure; Healthcare Provider (HCP) Level of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire from AHA or equivalent; experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred; minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization) within six months of hire, renewed every two years.
Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs, manual dexterity, physical strength to perform CPR, sustain alertness in a high-stress environment, and excellent visual and communication skills.
Additional Information: The assignment is scheduled from 08/31/2026 to 11/30/2026, with up to 24 hours of call-off availability at no cost to the facility.
