Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a children's hospital located in Colorado Springs. This 13-week assignment requires providing specialized care to neonatal patients, with a focus on optimal patient outcomes. The role involves working night shifts and adhering to unit staffing needs, including weekend and holiday coverage.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); RN licensure; at least 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); prior travel nursing experience highly preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Comfort with patients from birth through 18 years of age, Pediatric/PICU experience.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to other pediatric medicine/surgical or pediatric intensive care units within a thirty-five (35) mile radius of the original assignment location.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be available to work all holidays. No requested time off within the first two weeks of the assignment is permitted. Exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination for medical or religious reasons are allowed.
