Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located within a healthcare organization. This role involves providing high-quality perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will be responsible for assisting with various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to hospital protocols during the assigned shift.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8-hour Days, with weekend, holiday, and on-call duties required (response time of 30 minutes).
• Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred; minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Familiarity with clinical equipment and instrumentation used in operating rooms; ability to interpret lethal dysrhythmias; strong leadership skills with the potential to assume charge nurse responsibilities; excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to recognize safety issues and assess patient needs in clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual domains; capable of functioning well under stress with strong problem-solving skills; must be able to assist with patient mobilization using lifts; may be required to assume preceptor, charge, or leadership roles.
• Ability to work within a 100-mile radius rule and adhere to shift schedule for a 13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026 and ending 12/16/2026.
