Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Springfield, MO. This position involves assisting vascular surgeons in the OR and hybrid imaging suite, working with a team of nurses and surgical technicians for both endo and open cases. The nurse will utilize nursing processes to provide patient care across all age groups, ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to organizational standards during a 13-week assignment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 4x10 shifts, 0630-1700, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN License (eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri), BLS certification from AHA, 2 years of Level 1 or 2 trauma experience (teaching hospital experience preferred), scrub and OR circulator experience, outpatients to critical care inpatient experience, highly motivated self-starter personality, scrubs in black.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 trauma experience with multiple years of OR experience.
• Additional Information: Assist with vascular surgeries and hybrid imaging procedures. Work collaboratively within a team for various cases, maintaining professional accountability and patient rights. Abides by nursing practice guidelines, Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and organizational standards. Candidates must be able to stand and walk most of the time, lift and push up to 50 lbs., and work in a clean, air-conditioned environment.
