Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a busy NICU environment. The staffing requirements include day shifts with a schedule of 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week, from September 14, 2026, to December 14, 2026.
Job Details
- Location: The role is situated in a NICU facility, which has 41 beds and a staffing of approximately 60 professionals.
- Schedule: Days only, with 12-hour shifts and at least 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and neonatal nursing certification (NRP). Candidates must have Level II-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level III-IV NICU settings is considered a plus.
- Additional Information: The unit uses advanced respiratory support equipment such as high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), conventional vents, CPAP, and NIPPV. Procedures frequently performed include surgery (excluding head and heart procedures), respiratory support, and micro-premature infant care. The candidate should be team-oriented with excellent teamwork skills.
- Shift Options: The position involves daytime shifts only, with four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule. No on-call responsibilities are required.
