Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located on the 2nd Floor of a healthcare facility in McKinney, TX. This role involves providing specialized critical care for neonatal patients in a fast-paced environment. The assignment offers a 13-week duration with night shift hours, supporting the organizations efforts to deliver exceptional infant care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift hours, 36 hours per week, duration from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026
• Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience, Level III NICU experience, ability to attend deliveries including Cesarean sections
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system, team player skills, additional advanced neonatal care skills
• Additional Information:
  • Unit specifics include 7 beds with patient ratios of 2:3
  • Equipment used includes BCPAP and HFNC
  • Documentation system: Meditech, CPNS
  • Self-scheduling for shifts
  • Float policy applies as needed
  • Dress code: Royal blue and/or white scrubs, neat and clean appearance, no artificial nails or extreme hairstyles, tattoos covered when possible, visible piercings limited to ears
  • Attendance policy strictly adhered to, in line with organization standards
