Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a healthcare facility located in McKinney, Texas. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a Level III NICU setting, focusing on the needs of neonates and their families. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dedicated unit emphasizing patient-centered care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience, Level III NICU experience, able to attend deliveries including Cesarean sections
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system, team player skills
• Floating: Floating may be required as needed
• Additional Information:
  • Unit specific equipment includes BCPAP and HFN
  • Documentation system in use is Meditech, CPNS
  • Nursing staff ratio is 2:3 with 7 beds available in the unit
  • Dress code requires royal blue and/or white scrubs; adherence to grooming and tattoo policies is mandatory
