Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position in a healthcare facility. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care following anesthesia procedures. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to monitor and evaluate patient recovery, ensuring optimal outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a basic professional curriculum from a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing; holds or is entitled to hold a valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications; 0 to 6 months of related experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience
• Additional Information: The Registered Nurse will perform assessments, carry out nursing care tailored to patient needs, document accurately, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, and adherence to hospital standards and policies. The role emphasizes professional judgment, effective communication, and cultural competence.
