Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in Houston, TX. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume emergency department, with a focus on fast-paced, critical patient management, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Texas (TX) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; minimum of 2.5 years of recent, relevant experience; EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred; experience in high-volume emergency rooms required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Additional Information: The position requires delivering professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, conducting assessments, assisting with exams and treatments, providing patient education, and maintaining accurate medical records. The RN will communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians and the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate quality patient outcomes. Leadership responsibilities may include serving as charge nurse or preceptor, as well as participating in or leading unit initiatives.
