Job Summary:
Operating Room (First Assistant) specialist located in Yukon offers a vital role in supporting surgical teams through patient care management during operative procedures. Ensuring adherence to standards, this position involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, efficient care from pre-op to post-op, with attention to age-specific and cultural considerations. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 32 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution. Must be licensed in good standing in the State of Alaska as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in a healthcare setting as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Additional Information: If the guaranteed hours are 40 per week, the first week they will not receive guaranteed hours since orientation starts on a Tuesday. All travelers are required to show proof of completed COVID-19 vaccinations.
