Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) for a facility in Colorado. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the perinatal unit, supporting mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care. The position requires a dynamic professional dedicated to maternal and neonatal well-being, with the ability to adapt to the fast-paced environment of the labor and delivery department.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN), unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses - Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM), The STABLE Program - STABLE Learner (STABLE), minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing, experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, bilingual in Spanish
- Additional Information: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. It is recommended to consider housing options in surrounding towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs. Typical rental costs for a one-bedroom apartment in Basalt are common; candidates seeking lower housing costs should assess their options accordingly. The assignment start date is 10/04/2026; the expected end date is 01/03/2027.
