Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a night shift position. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients within a clinical setting. The position requires utilizing professional nursing standards, clinical judgment, and specialized knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring safety, compliance, and positive patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in state of practice or eligible for licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, relevant clinical experience in acute care settings. Experience in the PCU setting is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and professional certification related to acute or progressive care nursing.
- Additional Information: The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and revise individualized care plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and document patient care activities accurately and timely. The role may include supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff, participation in quality improvement activities, and engagement in ongoing professional development activities.
