Description
Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in a specialized unit. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and promote patient safety and satisfaction.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice or a temporary/interim RN license. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing (preferred). Professional certification is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The RN will provide direct patient care, participate in care planning, document accurately and timely, and contribute to quality improvement activities. May supervise staff and work closely with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
