Description

Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse (RN) position is located in a community hospital serving adult and geriatric patient populations. The role involves providing specialized care in a Level Trauma 3 and Joint Commission accredited facility with an established team dedicated to high-quality patient outcomes. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to work within a multidisciplinary team, utilizing advanced equipment and adhering to strict clinical protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH; Open to candidates with no minimum experience required, but 2 years of experience is preferred; candidates must be at least 60 miles from the facility location
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric populations, familiarity with Baxter pumps and Medhost EHR system
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to intermediate care unit and emergency department holding areas, as needed basis
  • Additional Information: The unit has 16 beds with patient ratios of 1:2. Candidates should be adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment with adult and geriatric patients experiencing conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, stroke, trauma, and more. Housing options are attached. Candidates should follow the organizations dress code with any scrub color as appropriate.

  • End Date: 12/21/2026
  • Travel: Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered. The position has firm start and end dates, and submissions should align accordingly.
