Description
Job Summary:
Step Down Unit RN in a healthcare setting located in the region. This position requires a healthcare professional with at least two years of experience in progressive care, medical-surgical, or telemetry units. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in a step down environment, with the flexibility to float within skill sets or to facilities within 40 miles if needed. The assignment begins on 09/13/2026 and concludes on 12/12/2026, with shifts scheduled during overnight hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active nursing license with Nursys license/certificate verification; valid drivers license or state ID; professional profile on the employers platform; three professional references; updated resume; two years of experience in progressive care, medical-surgical, or telemetry units; current certification in the RN Step Down (Progressive Care Unit) specialty exam and skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience and EPIC EMR proficiency.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Travel experience, EPIC, and the ability to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles may be required to meet unit needs and ensure patient safety.
