Job Summary
Endoscopy Lab Nurse Asheville, North Carolina. The healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Endoscopy Laboratory (ENDO LAB) nurse for assignment at a regional acute care facility. The role involves supporting a variety of endoscopic procedures within a dynamic hospital environment, with a focus on adult and pediatric endoscopy services, including advanced procedures such as ERCP and EBUS.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Endoscopy Lab nurse responsible for supporting adult and pediatric endoscopic procedures, including EGD, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EBUS, bronchoscopy, PEG placements, and foreign body removal, among others, in an 815-bed hospital that is a Level II trauma center and is recognized for its comprehensive stroke and pediatric services.
  • Required Qualifications: Active NC or Compact State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with at least 2 years of experience in endoscopy or a related specialty.
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 9-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible for occasional weekend and on-call shifts, including two 24-hour weekend call shifts during a six-week period. The role may include supporting both adult and pediatric patients, with experience in pediatric endoscopy preferred.
