Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Overland Park, Kansas. This critical role involves providing specialized care in a unit dedicated to labor, delivery, and postpartum services. The position requires a compassionate and skilled professional experienced in labor and delivery procedures, supporting women and newborns throughout their hospital stay.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, current licensure in the state of Kansas, with experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with antepartum care, fetal monitoring, and circulation for cesarean sections; previous work with newborns and antepartum patients is highly desirable.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves performing typical procedures such as vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and monitoring fetal well-being. The ideal candidate embodies a caring and compassionate culture aligned with unit values.
