Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Weatherford, TX. This role involves providing patient care in a general medical-surgical unit with a focus on safety, patient centeredness, and clinical competence. The assignment is scheduled for nights, with a focus on delivering quality care over a 13-week period starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/21/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS and ACLS certifications; 2+ years of hospital experience in medical-surgical care; proficiency with Meditech electronic documentation system; must have prior hospital experience in medical-surgical unit
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech system; additional specialty or advanced certifications preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • The RN is responsible for patient care decisions within the nursing scope, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Must demonstrate competence in patient experience initiatives including patience, AIDET communication, bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and service recovery.
  • Dress code includes navy blue scrubs with hospital embroidery.
  • Proof of work authorization and licensure are required.
  • The unit provides general medical surgical care including IV initiation, Foley management, dressing changes, and assistance with activities of daily living.
