Description

Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing direct patient care within a specialized cardiac electrophysiology laboratory, supporting complex procedures such as cardiac mapping, ablation, and device management. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and effective coordination with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: 09/21/2026
  • End Date: 12/21/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, minimum 0 years of experience in electrophysiology or cardiac catheterization labs, experience with cardiac ablation systems, cardiac mapping, conduction studies, electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures, and device insertions.
  • Skills: Baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, conduction studies, electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures, hybrid operating room procedures, insertion and programming of AICDs and pacemakers, scrub procedures, tilt table studies.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must have experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations. No call or weekend coverage is required. The position involves direct patient care in a high-complexity cardiac electrophysiology setting, with a caseload of approximately 2 patients per day. Candidates should be familiar with Epic electronic charting system and be able to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.
